Lindbergh Forest
The Lindbergh Forest subdivision is between Chapman Highway, Woodlawn, Moody, and the James White Parkway. The neighborhood is named after the famous aviator Charles Lindbergh. Developed in the late 1920s, Lindbergh Forest is full of Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow homes made with Tennessee stone and marble. Lindbergh Forest has several dozen houses that were added to the National Register of Historic Places, and the area is officially named the Lindbergh Forest Historic District.
Look no further if you’re looking for a neighborhood near downtown and college campus fun. Lindbergh is only minutes from the UT strip and Gay Street restaurants and shops. Just a short drive away, residents can enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Lindbergh Forest is one of Knoxville's little gems, boasting heavily wooded areas, romantic architecture, and small winding streets.
